Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society and River Center
The Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society has its "home" at the Dungeness River Audubon Center.
Not
only does the center provide the space for OPAS activities, it also houses
a spectacular exhibit of local birds and is a wealth of information on the
flora and fauna of the Olympic Peninsula.
The center is located right
on the Olympic Discovery Trail that connects Port Angeles to Sequim. The
historic Dungeness Railroad Bridge spans the river and allows visitors to
watch birds and salmon residing and migrating through this unique riparian
zone.
All through the year, the River Center provides educational
activities for kids and grown-ups alike: community forums, summer camps,
adult and school field trips, festivals, and bird classes ranging from beginner
to expert, are all offered at the Dungeness River Audubon Center. Come see
what we can offer you!

The Olympic BirdFest is a partnership of the Olympic
Peninsula Audubon Society, Dungeness River Audubon Center and Jamestown S'Klallam
Tribe.
