Join Denny Van Horn and Bob Boekelheide for a unique, two-day birding experience at one of the most remote and wild birding areas of Washington State. One day we will explore the Makah Indian Nation’s best and most beautiful birding hot spots, and the next day board the M/V Wind Song for a 6-hour offshore boat trip to view pelagic sea birds and marine mammals, along with more land birding when we return. The day on the boat and the day on land may be switched, depending on weather. Both days we meet at 8 am at the Washburn General Store in Neah Bay Village. Considering the distance to Neah Bay, we have arranged two-nights lodging as part of the package, starting on Sunday night before the first day of birding, and on Monday night during the trip. Costs include two-nights lodging, boat trip, transportation around Neah Bay by Makah tribal van, birding guides, two breakfasts, two bag lunches, and special buffet dinner on Monday evening. Limit 22 people.
